Borrower & broker portals

Give borrowers and brokers a clearer next step

“What do you still need from me?” should be an easy question to answer. Flolend gives borrowers and brokers their own portal, branded as your lending business, so each person sees what is theirs to do and how the deal is tracking.

01 / Borrower portal

Borrower portal: a clear checklist to drawdown

Borrowers sign in to a portal in your branding and see a card for each loan, with their progress towards drawdown and the conditions still to complete. Each condition explains what is needed and when it is due.

They can upload documents, confirm acknowledgements, complete forms and set up their direct debit with GoCardless. Anything they submit moves to awaiting review, so your team checks every item before it counts as complete.

Borrowers can also see the broker linked to their loan, and remove or restore that broker’s access themselves.

Click a condition to complete it, or remove your broker’s access.

02 / Broker portal

Broker portal: every deal, and where it is up to

Brokers see their deals under Applications, Drawdowns and Funded. Each deal shows its stage, the amount, term and rate, how many conditions are outstanding and who to contact at your business.

Opening a deal shows the parties, each condition and its due date, the drawdown amounts and recent activity. If a client is holding things up, the broker can send them a reminder in a couple of clicks.

Brokers upload their invoice on the deal, choose which email updates they receive, and confirm their authority to act for the client before the deal details open.

Switch tabs, search, open a deal and send a client a reminder.

Good afternoon, Sam

Here is where each of your deals is up to.

Cut down the chasing

When requirements are visible and submissions have a place to go, the next follow-up can focus on what is actually missing. Staff spend less time reconstructing the request from scattered messages, and brokers can nudge their own clients.

Keep access relevant

Each person sees only what is shared with them. Borrowers see their own loans and conditions; brokers see the deals they are linked to, once their authority is confirmed. Your team decides which conditions are visible and reviews everything that comes in.

Questions

Borrower and broker portal questions

How do borrowers and brokers get access?

Your team invites them from the deal. They receive an email from your organisation, follow the link and set a password, then sign in with their email and password from then on.

Can the portals carry our branding?

Yes. The portals show your logo, name and brand colour, so borrowers and brokers deal with your lending business.

Can brokers complete conditions for their clients?

No. Brokers can see the conditions, follow progress and send reminders. The borrower or the assigned party completes each condition, and your team reviews it.

Can my team see what the client sees?

Yes. Staff can preview either portal as a particular borrower or broker sees it, without signing in as them.
