Privacy policy

Flolend is New Zealand loan management software for lenders and finance companies. When this policy says “we” or “us”, it means Flolend. Our privacy officer is Callum McKenzie, and you can reach us at [email protected].

This policy covers this website and the enquiries we receive. Information that lenders store inside the Flolend platform, such as borrower and loan records, is handled under each lender’s agreement with us, and the lender decides how it is used.

When you request a demo or send us a message, we collect the details you enter. That can include your name, email, phone number, role, company and company website, the kind of lending you do, your approximate number of active loans and funds under management, and anything else you choose to tell us.

When you visit the site, our hosting provider records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. We use your IP address briefly to stop spam and repeated automated submissions. This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

We use your enquiry details to reply to you, arrange and run your demo, and follow up about Flolend. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists unless you ask us to.

Please don’t include borrower names, account details or other confidential loan information in an enquiry.

Your enquiry is delivered to our inbox by Resend, an email delivery service, and the website is run by our hosting provider. These providers process information on our behalf, may store it outside New Zealand, and are required to protect it. We only share your information with others if you agree or the law requires it.

We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep reasonable business records. If you would like us to delete your enquiry, email us and we will.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Enquiries are sent over encrypted connections, and only the people who need them can see them.

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 20 working days.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated.
